Using Salesforce Campaigns with SyncApps is easy as we automatically pull in all your active campaigns, sorted in alpha order for easy selection.
If you are in a 2 Week Free Trial best practice for testing is by selecting 1 Campaign to sync over to your Email marketing platform, put a few contacts or leads into it, then you are all set up to click "Sync Now". If you are using both leads and contacts be sure to have 2 Sync Profiles setup for both object types, Leads & Contacts.
Don't forget to also set up the Salesforce side layouts too prior to syncing using Campaigns or Marketing List.

Salesforce layouts check-point for Campaigns and Marketing List functionality:
*Campaign CazoomiID is placed in Campaign Page Layout

*CampaignMember CazoomiID is placed in CampaignMember PageLayout

*The metrics fields placed in Campaign History layout (note: MailChimp forwards will not be created)

*If using Marketing List (place the Lead and Contacts total subscribed fields, which are created upon install, on the Marketing List page layout)

On your Free trial only 1 Email Campaign and their metrics are synced over from your Email marketing platform to your CRM based on everytime you click "Sync Now" for easy testing. Also, only 100 opt-out are allowed to sync over to CRM on your Free Trial.
On paid plans only is there scheduling enabled and the time Campaign response metrics sync over are determined by the first sync time (3 hour intervals).

If you have any questions around what a feature does just scroll over the
in SyncApps screens as they are your "SyncNotes" for setting up your SyncApps Profile (Salesforce to your Email marketing platform).
Permission issues do sometimes come up so please check that Salesforce user used in SyncApps configuration has permissions to create a campaign. Please also check if there is any trigger defined on campaign object that does custom validation as this will cause issues on bring back metrics into Salesforce.

If on Syncing you receive this error message please be sure to check your "Marketing User" checkbox is set too for user.
| ERROR | Error on campaign response sync: Error on processing object: {Name=Test, Status=Completed, CazoomiId__c=160bec35ee, IsActive=true, Type=Email, type=Campaign} |

(Optional and Webhooks do not work on Salesforce Campaigns)
MailChimp Webhooks setup: We have made an enhancement to automatically create Webhook if user selects Marketing list sync option or checked "Update Salesforce if subscribers update their profiles in MailChimp".

*MailChimp only allows for 60 groups in each list for segmentation, so best practice is to use MailChimp segments with Salesforce Campaigns.

As marketing metrics sync in real-time to Salesforce contacts or leads, marketing automation work-flow is easy to build for aggregate reporting in Salesforce.
If you want your entire database from Salesforce CRM to your Email Service Provider to sync it is only 1 click away. Salesforce SyncApps enables Salesforce CRM users to manage their leads and contacts while email marketing automation managed in your ESP always have the right lead, prospect and customer information in sync.
What does this mean for the users of both applications?
Simply the ability to seamlessly sync contacts, leads and prospects with no exporting from your Salesforce CRM and re-importing into your ESP or worrying about incorrect customer data.

Hi Cazoomi,
I just realized in my Salesforce that I don't see the CAMPAIGN radio button in the Marketing List. How do I get that?
Felix
Please ignore. I updated it in Salesforce. :)
