Sync Campaign(s) or Marketing List(s) from CRM to your Marketing Automation List/Group

How do you set up the integration for Constant Contact to Salesforce when you need to sync certain campaigns in Salesforce to Constant Contact?

So we thought we’d tackle it in the simplest way for everyone to understand.

Here it goes:

  1. Select Step 1 of the Sync Profile feature for Marketing List mode.
  2. Select the checkbox "Sync Campaign/List Members to Constant Contact List."
  3. Press the "Select Specific Campaigns To Sync."

Selected Specific Campaigns from CRM will then Sync to the Master List or Audience that is assigned in Step 2 of your Sync Profile and create its own List (if using Constant Contact) or a Group (if using Mailchimp).

If no Campaign is selected, then all active campaigns will be synced to your Marketing Automation solution.

How do you sync only certain Marketing List(s) in Salesforce to Constant Contact?

  1. Select in Step 1 of the Sync Profile the Marketing List mode feature mode.
  2. Select the checkbox "Sync Campaign/List Members to Constant Contact List."
  3. Next, select "Use Cazoomi's Marketing List package" in the Marketing List mode
  4. Press "Select Specific Marketing Lists To Sync."

Selected Specific Marketing Lists from CRM will then Sync to the Master List or Audience that is assigned in Step 2 of your Sync Profile and create its own List (if using Constant Contact) or a Group (if using Mailchimp).

If no Marketing List(s) is selected, then all active Marketing List(s) will be synced to your Marketing Automation solution.

Syncing Marketing List(s) with the right Object type

Be sure that if you want to sync your Marketing List to your Marketing Automation software, select the specified Object type. Let's say, Contact is selected as the Object Type in your first Sync Profile, then only the Contact records that are inside the CRM Marketing List will be synced.

If you need to sync another Object Type records under that Marketing List, it is a must to create another Sync Profile for each(e.g Contacts, Leads, Accounts). For Person Accounts, you may select Contact as the Object Type.

Can the integration sync with an existing Mailchimp Group, or does it only sync to a new Group? Ideally, we'd like to sync to the original Group.

Yes, this works like a charm. Just be sure that the Zoho CRM Campaign or List View (a recent enhancement we have rolled out in SyncApps) matches the Group Name 100%. Be sure the Group Title is the one you want to create/match to the Group under it.
