Why isn't this 365 Marketing List syncing with Constant Contact?

Wondering why your 365 Marketing List isn't syncing to Constant Contact? See the easy steps below for success!

  • Open your Set Up and head to Step 1 (CRM).
  • Under the Marketing List option, double-check if you have selected the specific List(s) then hit update. Also, make sure that these Marketing List(s) are set to "active" so that they will be exposed in the pop-up box.
  • Click Save after.
  • Head back to the main Set Up Page, hit "Reset Sync Process" first then the "Sync Now" button.

Please note that to minimize confusion, List names are treated as case-insensitive. So "Marketing List a" equals "Marketing List A."

In Constant Contact, you will not be able to create a new list if there is already a list with the same name but a different case.

  • For example, if there is "Marketing List A," you won't be able to create a "Marketing List a" list. You can try that.

As a workaround, you can rename the marketing list to have a different name. You might need to Reset Sync Process and resync after renaming it as well.
