Invalid Service URL when setting up integration for on-premise Dynamics CRM 2011

If you have an on-premise Dynamics CRM 2011 and are getting the following error when setting up the integration please take a look at how to resolve it below.

Error: "Invalid MSCRM 2011 Online web service URL. The URL must contain "'domain."

Currently, we do not support MSCRM 2011 with NTLM authentication. For on-premise, we only support Authentication with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).

As a workaround, you can use MSCRM SyncApps to connect to MSCRM 4.0 endpoint that is available in MSCRM 2011.

365 Authentication Methods Supported today.

On configuration please select MSCRM 4.0 SyncApps, Windows Integrated Authentication type and put the following URL as service URL and (change your company name).

We also need a publicly accessible URL of your CRM (without VPN or remote desktop). If your CRM is not accessible from the public internet (outside the company network) then, unfortunately, we will not be able to connect to your on-premise MSCRM.

The CRM server must be accessible from SyncApps server IPs listed here.

If you need more assistance, as an option to help you get set up, please email our support team below as we would need to have read-only user access to your system to investigate.
