Usually, that error is caused by an invalid username and password or the password has already been expired.
To remedy the issue, just updated your password in your Dynamics 365 password and after that, update also the password in Step 1 of the Sync Profile.

If encountering this issue please check to make sure the metadata in ADFS relays is properly set up. This commonly occurs with On-premise 365 using the Claim Based Authentication.
