In the example below, you'll see the two Mailchimp Groups named the same. Can the integration sync with an existing Mailchimp Group, or does it only sync to a new Group?

Yes, this works like a charm. Just be sure that the CRM Campaign or List View matches the Group Name 100%. Be sure the Group Category is the one you want to create/match to the Group under it.
