Are you new to SyncApps or just want to know how to set up your field mapping in Step 4?
First things first, be sure that those fields are in your Contact or Lead Layout in your CRM so that you'll be able to see those fields available in the drop-down menu in Step 4 for mapping. Alternatively, you will need to create a custom field for that certain field.
Please note that the Field Mapping feature is available as an Add-On for Free Plan and is included in all our Paid Plans.
In Step 4 of the Sync Profile (Step 3 in some integrations) is the Field Mapping step which allows you to sync the fields from Software A to Software B or even vice-versa. Select the desired fields to be mapped.
Mapping Direction: CRM to Marketing Automation - all the field updates will be synced only to Marketing Automation. Updates from Marketing Automation will not be synced to CRM.
Always remember that whenever you edit and add some fields, you'll need to tap save, Reset Sync Process and then resync.
Field Mapping for Constant Contact integrations with SyncApps
If you're using Constant Contact integration with SyncApps, only 15 custom fields (25 Custom fields for V3 Constant Contact API, which will be supported in the latter half of 2019) will be mapped to and from CRM. You might wonder that the drop-down menu in Step 4 is "Custom Field 01" etcetera, this is because of the limitations in Constant Contact API, but you can just relabel them inside Constant Contact. Field Mapping for Mailchimp Integrations with SyncApps
For mapping the Address fields from CRM to Mailchimp, Mailchimp is quite strict when it comes to Address fields. To make sure that the fields will be properly synced, you'll need to map them individually and use the standard email fields in CRM. Here's how you do it:
If you're mapping Multi-Select/Pick List fields in CRM, make sure that you also have set up a Multi-Select Picklist field in Mailchimp, or a drop-down field with the exact field values that is in that field in CRM to prevent errors.
Field Mapping for NetSuite integrations
For NetSuite integrations, the fields available in Step 4 may vary on the selected Saved Searches in Step 1 of the Sync Profile. If Saved Search option is not selected, then the Contacts fields will be available.
Fields not available in Field Mapping Step 4?

Try out these simple steps to see what you’re looking for today!
- In Step 4 of the Sync Profile, tap "Refresh Fields". After tapping this one, see the drop-down menu if the fields you're looking for is already available.
- In some CRMs such as NetSuite, the availability of the fields will depend on the Saved Search that you have selected in Step 1 of the Sync Profile.
- In Delivra, for custom fields, you can use the database name. For example, RePhoto_ database name is text11_ then you need to map to Text11.
- There are also some instances that it won't appear as it depends if the field is supported by the API.
