Setting up Field Mapping with Constant Contact for Salesforce

Are you wondering how the Field Mapping feature should be set up in your Sync Profile?

Good news as we’ve made this flowchart for you as your visual guide!

SyncApps usually syncs the pre-mapped basic and default fields such as the following:

  • Email Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company
  • Address
  • Phone

If wanting to sync other fields, the Field Mapping feature enables you to sync any standard and custom fields over from our CRM to your Marketing Automation software.

Below shows super simple steps to manage standard and custom fields with SyncApps using one of our top integrations, Salesforce, and Constant Contact.


Step 4, Enable Field Mapping, Salesforce Field, Constant Contact Field, Add Mapping, Save, Ok, Finish, Reset Sync Process and Sync Now

In Step 4 of your Sync Profile, Enable Field Mapping by tapping on the checkbox. Next, in the drop-down select field, the Salesforce Fields will appear from the CRM object that is used in Step 1 and you can select the desired field to be mapped.

Also, select field on the Constant Contact drop-down so that fields will be mapped accordingly to your chosen fields. 

Next tap on “Add Mapping” button, tap “Save”, tap “OK”, and tap “Finish”.

After tapping on the “Finish” button, remember that if you’re making configurations, you must tap on the “Reset Sync Process” button first before tapping on the “Sync Now” and allow SyncApps to do the magic.
