How can I map the pre-mapped fields in Step 4 of my integration?

Hi there! You are probably here because you want to know how you can map the premapped fields in Step 4 of your integration.

Well, you just landed on the right article.

Premapped fields are built-in fields of your software such as the following:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Address (Primary/Standard)
  • Phone (Primary) 
  • Account
  • Email Opt Out

For Mailchimp integrations, the premapped fields are the following:

  • Email Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Opt Out

By default, SyncApps integrates these fields even if you haven't configured these in the field mapping section. The fields that are available in the drop-down menu will depend on what Object type in Step 1 you have selected.

For example, if you have selected "Contact" as the Object type, then only Contact type fields will be available for mapping. 

In some cases, you might want to override these fields to fit your field mapping use case. If so just review the "More Options" feature on the Step 4 page as shown below.
