How can I map the pre-mapped fields in Step 4 of my integration?

Hi there! You are probably here because you want to know how you can map the pre-mapped fields in Step 4 of your integration. Well, you just landed on the right article.

Pre-mapped fields are built-in fields of your software such as the following:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Address (Primary/Standard)
  • Phone (Primary) 

For Mailchimp integrations, the remapped fields are the following:

  • Email Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name

By default, SyncApps integrates these fields even if you haven't configured these in the field mapping section. The fields that are available in the drop-down menu will depend on what Object type in Step 1 you have selected.

If you have selected "Contact" as the Object type, then only Contact type fields will be available for mapping. 

In some cases, our subscribers wanted to make those available as one of the options to map. You just need to reach out to our 24/7 Support Team so we can work on customization that will enable overriding built-in mapping. Customizations are available to Enterprise Plan subscribers only.
