There are two ways to map Mailchimp Address fields based on company preference.    

1. Mailchimp Address Data Type fields 
2. Text Data Type fields 

1) Mailchimp Address Data Type fields

When using Mailchimp Address Data Type fields, it is important to follow these rules for proper mapping. All Mailchimp Address Fields must be mapped so that CRM data can sync correctly with Mailchimp.

If an Address Field is present in the Audience, whether required or not, and is not mapped in SyncApps Field Mapping, the entire record will fail to sync to Mailchimp as per their API rules.

So, following this mapping is crucial: Pay close attention to the field label and type.

1. Address <> Street Address
2. City <> City
3. State <> State
4. Country <> Country
5. Postal Code <> Zip 

The five fields above mapping rules are only applied if you use Address Data Type fields in Mailchimp.

The address data type can be distinguished in field mapping with like the screenshot below:

2) Text Data Type fields 

A best practice is to use a separate text field for each address component: street, city, state, zip, and country.

EXAMPLE:

OR using the Mailchimp Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags:

You can also sync the whole CRM Address to just 1 Address Merge Field in Mailchimp, as shown below:

If you need subscribers to be able to update their existing CRM address from Mailchimp, then after mapping the fields, select Step 2 of the Set Up feature below.

Mailchimp Update Profile Form or Preference Center updates CRM records with changed fields.

This will use a mapping configuration to update data. Please make sure you configure the mapping correctly. If this option is enabled, SyncApps will set up a webhook automatically in the specified Mailchimp Audience to update records in your CRM when they're updated in Mailchimp without the integration needing to run.
