Understanding Record Syncing in SyncApps: Monthly Records and Updates
One key element to understand when using SyncApps to synchronize your data is how records are counted and synced monthly. At the core of this process, SyncApps uses the email address as the unique identifier for syncing and counting records bidirectionally.
What Counts as a Record Update?
- Any update to a record—whether it involves premapped fields or custom fields mapped in the Set Up—will be counted as an updated record during the sync. This includes any changes made to the fields that have been designated for synchronization.
Tracking Engagement Data
In addition to the data directly related to records, SyncApps tracks the engagement activities associated with campaigns sent through your marketing automation solution. This encompasses metrics like opens, clicks, bounces, open rate, click rate, and URLs clicked. These data metrics are considered updates that count against monthly data sync quotas.
