By default, records from your CRM / Financials / eCommerce as the first main Software, and the connecting software, which is your Marketing Automation / Accounting, will sync bi-directionally based on your Set Up Configuration, just another way to say the way you have selected to set up your integration in the Steps you have just finished.
- CRM always takes higher precedence over your Marketing Automation software. Any CRM record changes will always be synced to your Marketing Automation software.
- Data is synced from your Marketing Automation software only if the email address doesn't exist in CRM at the time of syncing or in the case of Mailchimp webhooks if you are using the Mailchimp Update Profile Form to update existing records with fields updates from Mailchimp. (Field Mapping required)
For Contact sync by default, SyncApps always tries to map the following fields if available with data in CRM:
- Email Address
- Job title (Title)
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Company Name (Account name)
- Work Phone (Phone, Phone 1, main phone)
- Home Phone
- Mobile Phone
- Fax
- Street Address
- City
- State (Province)
- Country
- Postal Code (Zip code)
- Salutation
