When you first connect SyncApps to your Salesforce org, it will ask for a few permissions. Don't worry; it's a routine check to ensure everything runs smoothly.

SALESFORCE INTEGRATION ROLE PERMISSIONS:
- API Enabled permission to access any Salesforce API
- Object permissions for all needed
- Page layout assignments for all required by your role
- Record type assignments if using record types
- Contacts
- Leads
- Accounts
- Campaigns
- Campaign Members
- Campaign History
- Custom Fields
- External data source access
- The detail and edit pages
- Related lists
- List views
Profile > Administrative Permissions > Modify All Data.
To overcome this error, log in to your Salesforce account and change the permissions for the user in Salesforce using SyncApps by enabling the Salesforce "Marketing User" on the user's record.
Make sure the API user is also a Marketing User:
Typical Errors:
- Error creating Notes. Insufficient access rights on cross-reference ID
- Error Code: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY | Entity type cannot be inserted: Campaign (Error code: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY)

Error on Campaign response sync: Pressing the "Sync Campaign Responses" feature autocreates fields for marketing metrics, yet the automation cannot be saved until you have placed the fields created by SyncApps on the Salesforce Task Page Layout. We have created these now for you, so please head over to Salesforce to drag the Task CazoomiId and other fields into the Task Page Layout, then return to this Step 1 of Set Up configuration to click next again to continue the setup of your automation. (Error code: CUSTOM_FIELDS_ACCESS) |
Here's a step-by-step guide to check the field security visibility:

Go to Object Manager

Select the right Campaign object (or other objects that show the same error)

Go to Fields and Relationships

Check the fields created by SyncApps one by one

Click "Set Field-Level Security"

Make sure that the field is visible and is NOT read-only
