Using Zoho CRM for SyncApps integration and need to know the flow of the records? Here's a quick guide.
Let's take a look!
The selected Object/Module type is what SyncApps will be syncing.
If you have selected "Contacts", only the Contact type records will be synced to your Marketing Automation Main List/Audience.
If wanting to sync Leads, you'll need to set up another Set Up as you are only allowed to select 1 Object Type per Set Up.
For this use case, we'll use "Contacts" as the Object/Module Type.
Flow: Zoho CRM to Marketing Automation Solution
john@xyzdomain.com, which is under your Contacts in Zoho CRM, together with the basic fields such as Email Address, First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number, will be synced to Marketing Automation's specified Main List/Audience in Step 2 of the Set Up, if the record does not exist at the time of syncing.
SyncApps uses the standard email address, so if a record does not contain one, SyncApps will ignore that record and will not be synced to your Marketing Automation Software.
Flow: Marketing Automation Solution to Zoho CRM
Both new record(s) and existing ones that belong to your Main List/Audience will be synced to Zoho CRM.
If you have a pre-existing record(s) in your Marketing Automation's Main List/Audience, SyncApps will sync them to Zoho CRM by default. However, if you would like to have field mapping from existing records in Marketing Automation to update Zoho CRM, you will need to make sure to have the Field Mapping enabled and set the mapping of the fields.
Syncing Zoho CRM Campaign(s) and List View(s) to Marketing Automation Solution
In Step 1 of the Set Up, when you selected specific Zoho CRM Campaign(s)List/View(s) or select "All Active Campaigns", each of them will be segmented into different email lists(s), Group(s) or Tag(s) under the specified Main List/Audience in Step 2 of the Set Up.

What about converted Leads? How does it work?
In your Leads Set Up, they will be synced from Zoho CRM to Marketing Automation Solution. But later on, the Lead record in CRM is converted into a Contact type record. Once this record is converted, do not forget to enable the option "Delete converted Leads" in Step 1 of the Set Up so that SyncApps can be able to determine that record now as a Contact type.
The record will now then be updated in the Contacts Set Up whenever the Sync runs.
